This is my last off day. I am staying with some family friends in Boston and they are out of town for Labor Day weekend. I have been running on pure adrenaline virtually all summer and my body is ready to break down. I have one more day to go, I just need to stay on my feet a little while longer.
It is absolutely crazy to me that this tour is almost over. This was over twenty years in the making. When I think about where I was less than a year ago I can not believe that I am 24 hours away from seeing a game at every single Major League ballpark. For the rest of my life (as long as each stadium remains standing) I will have a connection to every city, team and ballpark. Watching a game on TV will never be the same as I will be able to put myself right back into the atmosphere of each stadium.
I am going to keep this post short and sweet. I do not want to jinx anything before I officially see the game at Fenway. I will be back to wrap everything up and give my rankings and final stats and much more. I spent my final off day doing absolutely nothing except watching the Tigers make a dramatic comeback against the A's scoring four in the bottom of the 9th, punctuated by a Torii Hunter three-run blast for the win.
One more day. One more stadium.
