My California adventure continues as I head north to San Francisco. Thanks to the baseball schedule I was forced to skip LA for the time being in order to catch the tail end of the Giants home stand. Luckily I will be able to see both the A's and the Giants during my time in the Bay Area so this will give me some extended time in one place. I will be staying with some family friends in Fremont, California and am looking forward to getting to know them a little better.

I have been looking forward to getting to San Francisco since the beginning of this trip. For those of you who have followed me since the beginning, you may have heard me talk about two special women that I met at Cooperstown earlier this year. Barbara and her daughter Adela have been Giants fans their entire lives. We had spent a grand total of two minutes together previously before I reached San Francisco, but those two minutes were enough to forge a friendship that I hope to maintain for years to come. Subscribe to the podcast and you will be able to hear one of my favorite interviews I have ever done with these two awesome ladies. Adela recommended a great Peruvian restaurant called Limon where Rindler and I pigged out on rotisserie chicken and empanadas. I am really looking forward to tomorrow's game. The Giants may have broken my heart in 2012, but I have always wanted to see a game on the bay.
