Rejuvenating day
After yesterday's huge mistake, the first thing I did this morning was eat a big breakfast. I decided that for the rest of the tour I am going to eat whatever I want. If I need to get back into shape in September I will deal with it then.
I headed to Trader Joes and picked up some food that I could snack on throughout the day and on the road. I bought kale chips, nuts, cookies and more. I spent the day writing up some more blog posts and taking a swim at the hotel pool. I felt much better today after blacking out last night.
I continued to eat as much as I could to get my energy back up. Today I focused on my physical and mental well being, which as I type that I realize is something that I should probably consider every day of this tour. There are at least 79 days left. I need to make sure I do not burn myself out.
This is going to be a short post today. If there are specific questions that you have about how I planned this tour or anything else at all please let me know at roundingthirdpodcast@gmail.com or @RoundingThirdMJ on Twitter. I would love to hear from you. It can get a little lonely on the road when I am not at a ballpark.
